Green Acres Country Club and Golf Course was built in 1970 by a group of
Donnellson area residents as a golf course and pool facility for the
community. It is overseen by a Board of Directors consisting of Green Acres
members. The Annual Meeting is every January when new board directors are
voted in on a 3 year term.
The facilities of the golf course,
pool and clubhouse restaurant are open to the members and the public. The
clubhouse is a non-smoking building.
The clubhouse interior was renovated
over the winter in 2008 with an updated dining room décor for daily café
dining and available by reservation for meetings and receptions.
The Monday nite men's birds, Tuesday
Ladies Day golf, Wednesday Senior Men’s golf and Friday nite couples golf
is open to members and the public.
Club Membership and swim passes can
be purchased anytime- contact clubhouse staff.
South of the Border Taco/Margarita
night is every Friday starting in March and going through the first of
November, hours are 5pm to 8pm.
Staff for the clubhouse are
supervised by club manager, Christy Davidson. The golf course is managed by
greenskeeper, Fred Warner. The pool lessons, lifeguards and activities
are supervised by Nicole Herdrich and John Nelson is in charge of the pool
maintenance.
